A new year is about to blossom into life. What kind of a year will 2011 be? There are some unshakable truths for the new year that we know for certain: God will work all things together for good for those who love Him and have been called according to His purpose, God is Love and His love endures forever, God is faithfully completing the good work He has begun in us. What beautiful, true promises for the new year. There are many, many more promises to encourage our hearts, found in the Bible. As the last 2 days of 2010 quickly approach it is time to quietly come before God and review all His mighty, faithful works in your life and the life of those He has brought near. Set aside time to be alone with the Mighty King of Kings and reflect on the year of 2010. If you journal, this is the time to start at the beginning of the year and read it all. It is amazing how much we forget. May we be thankful and in awe of all that God has worked in our lives these past 365 days which He alone has given us to grow and to love and forgive in His name.
